Having the privilege to shoot the wedding of someone you know is really special. It’s a privilege I take seriously and I’m thankful each and every time I have that opportunity. And so, October 1 was a really special day for me. I would never have guessed that I’d be photographing Allison’s wedding when I met her in sixth grade, but that’s exactly what I did.
It was a cloudy and kind of rainy day, but that didn’t dampen any spirits in Toronto, where Allison and Andrew tied the knot. Allison looked stunning in her lace dress and it was so wonderful seeing all the love and support the two of them had around them as they wed. Even more beautiful was seeing the love they shared for each other and their wonderful dog, Neko. She was a welcome addition at the ceremony and I’m so glad she was able to make so many appearances in their photographs.
A few of my favourite images from the day are below…where we laughed and danced and celebrated well into the night. Please enjoy.
