wedding photo booth

Can I just say how much I LOVE a good photo booth!!  I love it!  I’ve loved photo booth’s in malls since I was a kid and I even have a strip of images of my Dad and I from when I was maybe 2 or 3 years old.  It’s one of my absolute favourite sets of images…ever.  When Shelagh was first talking about her wedding to Josh with me, I think I just assumed they’d have a photo booth at the reception.  Our conversation probably went something like this:

me:  you want a photo booth, right?

shelagh:  duh!

me:  ok, pfew.  So good.

Anyway, here are a few of my favourite photo booth! images from Shelagh and Josh’s wedding.  (I bought a wireless remote, which made it so much fun!)

I love comments.

Here’s an official sneak peek from Trina and Bill’s recent wedding at the Cutten Club in Guelph!  (The photo booth! pictures don’t count!)  I’m still mulling over how best to express what a wonderful experience it is to photograph one of your best friends weddings…this day was truly amazing.  For now, however, I’d like to share a few of my favourite images of Trina, Bill and a few details from the big day!

Comments are always welcome!  If you don’t ‘like’ fresh images on facebook yet, I’d love it if you did!

Andy Warhol Museum Wedding

Have I ever mentioned that Andy Warhol is my favourite?  Even in art school, I couldn’t be swayed.  I’ve been aware of him since before I can remember.  I loved his Campbell’s Soup Cans, his screen prints of Marilyn Monroe, and as I learned more about him, I fell in love with his video work, his thoughts on celebrity, and how fun his work is.  So, I had to share this video, shot by Ryan Kroboth  that I found through the wedding chicks blog.  The wedding took place at the Andy Warhol Museum.  I’m in love.

reality

I kind of feel like when I wake up tomorrow, I’ll be back to reality…it’s been a couple of days now since my sister, Shelagh, got married, and in theory, I should be caught up on my sleep.  (I’m not, by the way.)  I’m still exhausted, still thinking of Friday, and I can’t wait to share photos and details of the big day.  I promised her I’d wait until she was back from her honeymoon though.  It’s going to be a long week…

I went to the Mumford and Son’s concert in Toronto last week, as well.  The concert moved into my number one spot of top 5 concerts I’ve ever seen (beating out, in no particular order, AC/DC, Augustana and Counting Crows, BB King, and John Mayer.)  I’ve been lucky to see a lot of live music in my life and it’s definitely one of my absolute favourite things…to see the energy of the crowd, the passion of the musicians, and just listen.  I spent a lot of this concert completely moved to tears, it was just so so beautiful.

(a little video I shot at the concert…)
